Jupiter makes key hire from BlackRock
Dryer who has 16 years’ experience in the asset management sector, will work alongside the team’s fund managers and with Jupiter’s sales and marketing teams to communicate the investment philosophy, process and views, in addition to providing updates on financial markets and economic trends.
She will join Jupiter in December from BlackRock, where she has carried out similar roles. Dryer has worked as retail product strategist, multi-asset client solutions, managing director, since 2011 and before that she was senior product strategist, euro fixed income portfolio management group, managing director. She has also held fixed interest roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Deutsche Asset Management.
Stephen Pearson, deputy chief investment officer at Jupiter said: “Bringing a person as respected as Katharine to Jupiter emphasises our commitment to the multi-asset, fixed interest and convertibles sectors. We have strong competencies in these areas and as we expand our client base in the UK and international markets, are seeking to enhance our communications to them.
