SGX hires prime services expert
Prime services expert Jonathan Cantouris has joined the Singapore Exchange (SGX) as a director.
He will work on business development of securities and derivatives in Europe and North America.
He recently left JPMorgan where he was executive director in prime and investor services sales. He was responsible for business development and sales, covering hedge funds, CTAs and managed account platforms.
Before JPMorgan Cantouris worked for Newedge where he was senior director and head of origination and structuring for prime services Emea. He worked at the brokerage firm for more than three years.
SGX recently reported that its derivatives trading and clearing activities grew in November compared to 2012, but securities trading fell.
