Stanhope Capital has hired Shafik Gabr, chairman and managing director of Artoc Group for investment and development, to its advisory board.
He will join the firm in July and will assist in expanding the firms’ international reach.

In addition to his role at Artoc Group, Gabr is the chairman and a founding member of Egypt’s International Economic Forum, a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum and also serves on Yale University President’s Council on International Activities.
He serves on the advisory board of Zurich Financial Services, is a global leadership council member at the Brookings Institution, a member of the Jackson Institute Council and is an advisor to MIT’s Centre for International Studies and The Paul H.
