Royal London appoints CIO
Royal London Asset Management has appointed Piers Hillier as chief investment officer. He will be responsible for driving forward Royal London’s investment capabilities and expanding its investment offering to attract new business.
Hillier succeeds Robert Talbut who will leave the organisation at the end of December after ten years to pursue other interests. He will join the business on January 5 2015, subject to regulatory approval.

Hillier joins the business from Kames Capital, where he has worked since 2012 as head of international equities. Before that, he has held cheif investment officer roles twice, for LV= Asset Management and West LB Asset Management.
