MUFG appoints head of client management
MUFG Investor Services, Mitsubishi UFG’s global asset servicing arm, has appointed McAllister Kirschner as its new global head of client relationship management.
He will take over responsibility for developing client relationships across the firm’s alternative asset servicing platform, leading client strategy in partnership with client managers.
Kirschner joins from BlackRock where he has worked for nine years since the firm acquired the fund of fund business of the Quellos Group. Most recently, he worked as a managing director for BlackRock’s global fund services business.
John Sergides, MUFG Investor Services’ global head of business development and marketing, said of the move: “We are excited to have him on board and look forward to strengthening our client-centric offering across our asset servicing platform.”
The move comes after a series of recent hires for the firm, with Mark Catalano joining from Atlas Fund Services, Michael McCabe from BNY Mellon’s Alternative Investment Services business and Och-Ziff Capital Management Group’s Daniel Trentacosta joining the company.
