New hedge fund role for State Street's Flemings
Paul Flemings, State Street’s former head of securities finance, has taken on a new role as global head of hedge funds at the Boston-based bank.
He is now responsible for the global strategic direction of hedge fund services, having previously managed the firm’s enhanced custody business, which allows clients to add a custody-based complement to an existing prime brokerage package.
Flemings, who joined State Street in 2001, was also a trader in the agent lending business and was responsible for the distribution of fixed income assets.
