Cross-border results
In the Americas region, Citi performed well in key markets including Argentina (weighted & unweighted), and Mexico and Brazil (weighted). BNP Paribas Securities Services also scored highly, gaining recognition in markets like Brazil and Colombia (weighted). CIBC Mellon and RBC Investor & Treasury Services scored highly in the Canadian market.
In Asia Pacific, BNP Paribas Securities Services came out top in China, Hong Kong SAR and India (unweighted) while HSBC featured highly in these markets and in Singapore and Taiwan, in the weighted space. Citi ranked well in Australia in both categories. Standard Chartered appeared in South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan (unweighted) and Mizuho Bank took the crown in Japan (both weighted and unweighted).
In Europe, BNP Paribas Securities Services won recognitions in France (unweighted) and in Italy, Spain and Portugal (both weighted and unweighted). Deutsche Bank also placed well in Austria, Belgium, France (unweighted) and in Germany (both categories). SEB came out strongly in the Nordics, while Citi featured prominently in the UK.
Across the Middle East and Africa, Standard Chartered saw nods in markets including Cote D'Ivoire, Kenya and Zimbabwe. HSBC featured in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. Citi and Standard Bank also were recognised in other key markets in the region.
Domestic results
In the Americas region, Citi came back to feature top in many Latin America markets, including Brazil and Mexico. Brown Brothers Harriman came top in the US, and CIBC Mellon in Canada,
Turning our attention to Asia Pacific, HSBC saw favourable results including in Indonesia, Japan, Singapore and South Korea. BNP Paribas Securities Services scored highly in India.
For Europe, BNP Paribas Securities Services returned to win in markets such as Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Elsewhere, Societe Generale Securities Services, SEB and CACEIS Bank also performed well.
Across the Middle East and Africa, Standard Bank saw nods in Kenya, Ghana and Botswana.
